Prairie Valley Station

The train is boarded at the Prairie Valley Station on Bathville Road about 6 km from Highway 97 in Summerland. The station features The Trout Creek Trading Co. Gift Shop offering a selection of railway-theme souvenirs, pioneer toys, books and clothing. While the KVSR doesn’t offer a full concession you can purchuse a variety of snack and drink items at the Station in addition to snacks and water on board the train. If you want to bring your own picnic and enjoy it in our picnic shelter or onboard the train – please do!

A large washroom facility is located next to the station and we offer guests a chance to wander through the BC-150 Heritage Legacy Walk to find out more about our history and our railway locomotives and equipment. All KVR facilities are wheelchair accessible and there is ample parking for cars, RV’s and buses.
